We would love to spread our passion for debate throughout the community. We intend to teach middle school students debate and speech terminology and techniques to better prepare them for tournaments and the transition to high school. In addition, we hope to encourage more students to be involved in their school's debate programs. The debate camp will also help foster critical thinking, argumentation, research, claim building, and various other skills in students to help them to not only become excellent debaters but also more successful in their school classes and general life.
