I'm currently a senior at Northview High School, captain of the varsity division of policy debate. Over the summer of 2018, I was accepted to and trained at the top lab at the Spartan Debate Institute at Michigan State University, one of the most intensive four-week debate camps in the nation. I spent the summer of 2019 and 2020 at the Race 'Kritikal' Scholars camp at Wake Forest University. I've been ranked #20 on the UM Coaches Poll, a ranking of the best partnerships in the country by the best coaches in the country. Currently, with 4 bids to the Tournament of Champions, I rank #3 in line for the Baker Award, which is awarded to the best policy partnership in the world!

Yasmin Shalim
Lincoln-Douglas Coach (2018)
I'm a senior at Northview High School and the captain of varsity and novice Lincoln Douglas debate. I have competed in the National and Georgia circuits and have won several awards including national double-octafinalist at the Durham Academy Cavalier Invitational, 1st place at the GA Forensics Coach's Association JV LD State Tournament, 1st place at the Sequoyah Autumn Argument tournament, runner up at the Alpharetta Treasure Hunt tournament, and quarterfinalist at the Chattahoochee Cougar tournament. Additionally, I trained in the top lab at the National Symposium of Debate at Philidelphia this summer.
